Free-ride means to ski further from the ski runs, in search for the best pristine snow eagerly awaiting to be travelled. The free-ride exploits the lifts to get as high as possible and reduce the walking or skinning time. If you choose Freewheeling Dolomites, you need to expect to go for a full day of powder runs, in search for the first track: our philosophy is to quit when the lifts close or when the quadriceps stops working!
The comprehensive network of pistes linking the Dolomites’ many areas allows to quickly move from place to place, taking in thousands of metres of downhill between buttresses and steep gullies.
The choice depends on your ski level and the snow condition. The IFMGA professional ski guides know these territories like the back of their hands, and they can guarantee to find the best itinerary for each of you.
Trusting an IFMGA/UIAGM guide living among these mountains means putting together the perfect, customized plan, and just enjoying your free-ride holiday, avoiding unpleasant hiccups.
