SNOWSHOEING in LASTE DI ROCCAPIETORE

Laste di Rocca Pietore

Follow this walking itinerary along the ancient paths of Laste. It is beautiful in summer and particularly enchanting in winter when you can explore it with snowshoes. The route takes you through the charming villages of Laste, which have remained intact over the centuries, and through enchanting woods. You can even get up close and personal with the Dolomites, touching the walls of Sass de Rocia and the other monoliths that line the path. Once you reach the Migon mountain hut, you can extend the route towards Malga Laste. Enjoy a breathtaking view of Civetta Mountain!

After the snowshoeing, you can eat at the traditional Stua Sa Laste restaurant.

FULL-MOON SNOWSHOEING AT SAN PELLEGRINO PASS.

S. Pellegrino Pass.

Freedolomites organises a night snowshoe hike in front of the full moon at Passo San Pellegrino – Baita Flora Alpina. This easy route is suitable for everyone and leads to Fuciade through the Valfredda.
Against the backdrop of the spectacular peaks of Sass de Tascia, Sasso Valfredda, Cima Cadine and Cima Uomo, you will reach the traditional mountain huts and the little church of Madonna della Neve.
The full moon will make this already magical setting even more spectacular.

Difficulty: easy
Positive ascension: 300 meters
Duration: 2.5 hours

A route, that through fairy-tale larch and fir woods and characteristic huts will give you unique suggestions. Snowshoeing around the magical environment of the snow-shrouded Castle of Andraz means savoring the charm of winter in the Dolomites in all its splendour!

SNOWSHOEING TO THE 5 TOWERS

Cortina D’Ampezzo

A snowshoe hike to the 5 towers, an unmistakable isolated mountain group made up of characteristic towers, including the Torre Grande, the Torre Quarta, the Torre Inglese.

The route develops into a true paradise for mountain lovers in winter. The excursion first goes into the woods and then enters the towers with characteristic passages to finally lead to a natural balcony overlooking a crazy scenery. The view will be free to range over the basin of Cortina d’Ampezzo and the Dolomites of Passo Giau: the Lastoni di Formin, the Croda da Lago and the Tofana di Rozes.

During the excursion, possibility of lunch at the welcoming and characteristic Rifugio Scoiattoli at an altitude of 2255 m

Laste di Rocca Pietore

A walking itinerary on the ancient paths of Laste. Beautiful in summer and special in winter with snowshoes. The route leads to discover the villages of Laste which have remained intact over the centuries and woods of great charm. Until direct contact with the Dolomites: you can touch with your own hands the walls of Sass de Rocia and the other monoliths that line and overlook the path. Once we arrive near the Migon mountain hut there is the possibility of extending the route in the direction of Malga Laste. Breathtaking view on Civetta Mountain!

At the end of the snowshoeing, there is the possibility of eating at the characteristic Stua Sa Laste restaurant
